I didn't want to post any pictures of this quilt until it was out of my house and given to it's new owner! I didn't make the Sunbonnet Sue squares, the gal's grandma did. The other block, called Daughter's Delight, was made using Jennifer Paganelli's line Flower Power. I think it turned out awesome....loved the colors in the Flower Power fabrics! So bright and cheery...perfect for a little girl. I hope the little girl who gets to snuggle in this quilt will love it!

Busy, Busy
Sorry I haven't had any crafty, quilty posts in a while. Things have been super busy around here. I have one quilt ready to blog about, however it's for a customer and I don't want to post it until she gets it! Next week, I promise there will be more crafty posts! In the meantime, if anyone has an extra $79 laying around you could buy me these....it's really a great deal since it's free shipping!!!

Farm Weekends are the Best Weekends!
I spent this past weekend on my mom's farm and it was fabulous! We ventured out and about in the one stoplight town and ate at some yummy diners and gas stations, shopped for antiques and of course went to some quilt shops!
Look what I got!
My new Pigeon Forge Pottery mug....don't you love that owl!
And then home we go to grill. My silly dogs get all tangled together with a stick and give up on freedom and just start chewing. Goofs!
And while the grill was doing it's thing, we were doing ours...

Here We Go!
As if I didn't have enough stuff that was on my "To Sew" list, I've gone and added another one! I have a thing for hexagons right now and when I was Jaybird Quilts doing a hexagon quilt along, I decided I wanted to join, and best part about it: I already had a jelly roll of Fig and Plum by Fig Tree Quilts just begging to be used (they are always so hard to undo!)!
....Although.....If I have to purchase a layer cake too I might as well buy a different jelly roll too.......hmm......

...A Perfect Easter Dress...
I recently purchased Anna Maria's Evening Empire Dress Pattern. At once I knew I wanted it to be my Easter dress. So I got to work! It's all finished and it fits perfectly. Paired with a yellow cardigan and yellow shoes and I will be all set! I can't wait to wear it tomorrow for Easter dinner at my mom's farm! It will be a perfect day! I hope you all have a fabulous Easter weekend as well!

Good Night
It was such a good night around here.....I made fajitas for dinner, sun was shining and warm, American Idol is on and I got a quilt top almost 100% finished!! I just have a few more pieces of sashing to put on tomorrow and it will be done! Just one more thing on my ever growing "to sew" list completed.
........Pictures to come later.......
Time to go to bed and read, my book is at that don't want to stop reading point!

Feeling Accomplished
A lot has been done today...and it's not even 1:00 yet!
*Fabric ordered for my quilt block for next months Mod Quild meeting! {yipee I finally figured out what I want to do!} For any of my Knox Mod Quilt gals reading, here's a hint....half-square triangles.
*Finished all 160 hst for a quilt I am making for someone. {hopefully it all gets finished this week, assuming the rest of the fabric I ordered gets here soon!} Pictures to come after the quilt is delivered!
*Planning out a wonderful quilt for a special farmhouse...a quilt that doesn't have to be a wall hanging but a perfect quilt to be snuggled under!
And now it's time to go see Shutter Island...perfect rainy Sunday afternoon!
