We know a very sweet family that is expecting twins VERY soon. So what does that mean for me....time
to make twin quilts!
Since they are having a boy and a girl I got to play with lots of different fabric! I used the Charm Squares Baby Tutorial from Oh, Fransson! I wanted to use pieces I had in my stash and didn't have any charms that would work. So I pulled 5 fabrics for each quilt and made my own charm pack! I placed them out in an ordered random way....making sure 2 of the same aren't too close together. I FMQ them in my go-to stippling...although if I do it again I would straight line! They are perfect size for a play mat on the floor and a good toddler sized movie time quilt when they get a little bigger. Now lets see if bug will let me get some work done on my wall hanging.....just 8 more blocks to piece!

cute! I'm only made 1 set of twin quilts, but it's sort of fun to coordinate them!
sweet little quilts!
Very cute! How sweet :)
Those are great! It's awesome that you were able to use fabrics from your stash. :)
Beautiful...I love that you made 2 quilts! The binding you chose is awesome! How fun, I can just see the little ones next to eachother on the floor on their quilts!
These are so beautiful! Thanks for linking up to {Sew} Modern Monday! Have a wonderful week!
